So the past week has been the week of the steelhead. I think we have caught more steelhead this week than we did all of last year. I think we caught 6 this week. We got two on Saturday one in the morning trip and one in the afternoon trip on a spoon on a 10 color lead core setup. The lake trout fishing has continued to be good overall. We are catching the lake trout on big flashers with flies and spin-n-glows down deep around 150 feet on our Downrigger’s and we’ve been catching a few on spoons as well. The salmon bite has continued to be good however the last few days we’ve been getting them more on flasher and flies or flasher and meat rigs combinations and a little bit deeper, the spoon bite has slowed down over the last couple days. The early morning bite has been best for King salmon however, we have been able to get some in the afternoon and the Lake Trout bite seems to be strong through most of the day. Fishing is good.
